The Rogbid R3 is a new and fairly inexpensive smartwatch with cellular connectivity and a camera. It features a rotating crown and an AMOLED display. In theory, this wearable should be very versatile, but its usability might be somewhat limited in real-word use.<\/p>\n

Rogbid is now offering a new smartwatch called the R3<\/a>, which has a fairly broad feature set on paper. The watch sports 4G LTE cellular connectivity, so it can be used for calls or browsing the web even without a connected smartphone. The watch runs on Android, but not necessarily a version that\u2019s fully optimized for smartwatches. As a result, the smartwatch can run apps that are not designed for watches, which look a bit awkward on the 1.65-inch display with 480 x 480 pixels. <\/p>\n

Nevertheless, this would mean that users can install a wide range of applications. For example, alternative maps and navigation apps could be installed. The watch can be used as a more or less standalone Android wearable but also as a traditional Bluetooth smartwatch that primarily handles things like activity tracking and notifications. <\/p>\n

In addition, the Rogbid R3 is equipped with a 1,100mAh battery, but prospective buyers shouldn\u2019t expect very long runtimes. The wearable also comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB of storage. There is a GPS module that could be used for navigation, and an electronic compass is also on board. The same applies to heart rate and oxygen sensors, and Rogbid even advertises a blood pressure feature. It appears as no calibration is required, so these blood pressure values might not be highly accurate. Either way, the watch also offers sleep tracking and a rotatable camera. <\/p>\n
