The Mountaineers were in a dog fight at the start of this tournament, tied with Illinois State University and Elon University for fifth place, at 22 over par through 18.<\/p>\n<p>The Black and Gold had a major improvement in the second round, shooting 5 over par through the second 18, charging up to third place. This bounce back was headlined by junior Ona Lukes, freshman Zoe Duval and redshirt sophomore Salem Lee. Shooting 2 under and 3 over par, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Heading into the final round, the Mountaineers found themselves in a fight once again to stay in the top five.
