Conor Benn<\/a> has been given the chance to fight for a world title in his next contest.<\/p>\n

Benn is deciding on his next move following his middleweight victory over Chris Eubank Jr in November<\/a>, with it expected he would now drop down to his natural division of welterweight.<\/p>\n

Waiting there are the likes of WBA champion Rolly Romero and WBC champion Mario Barrios, both of which Benn has called out in recent months.<\/a><\/p>\n

Another world champion is now asking for a fight against Benn though, after newly-crowned IBF super-welterweight titleholder Josh Kelly told Talksport<\/a> he would happily take on his domestic rival, claiming it would sell out a football stadium in \u2018seconds.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve been going back and forth for years so it\u2019s a natural fight to make, especially if he\u2019s coming down to try and make 147, I don\u2019t personally think if he\u2019ll make it or not. We\u2019re both big names in the UK, it would fill out a stadium in seconds.<\/p>\n

\u201cGive him his due, he\u2019s come on the last few years in different things. He beat a shell of a man in Eubank in his last fight. I think it might be unfair on him putting him in there with me at this moment of time because I\u2019m not sure if he\u2019s ever competed at world level at the very top echelon against people in their prime.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor me it\u2019s easy money. That\u2019s a tick-over fight before I fight someone else, if he ever gets the cojones to come and jump in, but we\u2019ll see.\u201d<\/p>\n
