At the time, Steve was the managing director and founder of a traditional timber window company. Moved by what he had witnessed, he retrained in estate planning and, nearly 25 years later, now runs a successful practice from offices in Hertfordshire. <\/p>\n
That journey, and the lessons learned along the way, form the backbone of Where There\u2019s a Will, There\u2019s a Way. The book is designed to help readers understand their options, plan with confidence and avoid placing unnecessary burdens on their loved ones.<\/p>\n
Steve said: \u201cThis book is about giving people clarity and confidence. It takes something we all tend to avoid and makes it manageable \u2014 even comforting. I\u2019ve deliberately cut through the jargon and written in plain English, because families don\u2019t need complexity at their darkest moments.\u201d<\/p>\n
Reflecting on Carl\u2019s death, he added: \u201cBecause Carl hadn\u2019t made a Will, his family were forced to organise his affairs without knowing what he would have wanted. It made an incredibly difficult time even worse. I don\u2019t want other families to go through that.\u201d<\/p>\n
