Jake Paul suffered a rude awakening at the hands of Anthony Joshua late last year.<\/p>\n
The brash superstar first entered boxing with a white collar bout in 2018, moving into the crossover space before fights with former MMA stars and novice professionals somewhat legitimised his campaign, though a headliner with Mike Tyson angered many fans.<\/p>\n
Paul jumped up numerous levels when he faced Joshua in December of 2025, the Brit having been drafted in as a replacement for disgraced lightweight world champion Gervonta Davis.<\/p>\n
The American avoided punishment from two-time heavyweight champ \u2018AJ\u2019 for the best part of six rounds before a devastating right hand ended the fight.<\/a> Paul, to his credit, got back to his feet after the count, though was transported to hospital shortly after and later revealed his jaw was broken in two places. Though he expressed his desire to fight on just days later, many felt it was all bravado.<\/p>\n Most Valuable Promotions co-founder and CEO Nakisa Bidarian, who started the company with Paul in 2021, has now told Sky Sports<\/a> that the 29 year old does indeed plan to continue his campaign.<\/p>\n \u201cAbsolutely he will fight again. His goal is to fight in 2026.\u201d<\/p>\n Despite those plans, the real decision will fall to commissions, who will look closely at the severity of Paul\u2019s injury and recovery before approving any bout.<\/p>\n
