Ottawa police responded to a 30-unit building on Shillington Avenue near Hollington Street around 12:30 a.m. Ottawa paramedics said a man was transported to hospital in critical condition<\/p>\n

Later Friday, police identified the victim as Andrew Dawson-Swan and said they had charged 32-year-old Sabrina Danis-Charlebois and 30-year-old Cody Maltby with second-degree murder.<\/p>\n

Both suspects have appeared in court and remain in custody, police said.<\/p>\n

It’s Ottawa’s second homicide of 2026. The latest investigation is taking place about one kilometre from the scene of another fatal stabbing last week on Mayview Avenue.<\/a>.<\/p>\n
