(AP) \u2014 Raiders star pass rusher <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nfl\/player\/maxx-crosby-353875\/353875\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nfl\/player\/maxx-crosby-353875\/353875\" target=\"_blank\">Maxx Crosby<\/a> said Friday any talk of wanting out of Las Vegas did not come from him.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">One NFL reporter said this week he expected Crosby to be traded because the seven-year veteran didn\u2019t want to go through another rebuild. Another NFL reporter said Crosby was especially interested in playing for New England coach Mike Vrabel.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Speaking from the team facility, Crosby said Friday on \u201cThe Herd with Colin Cowherd\u201d that he intentionally hasn\u2019t spoken publicly this offseason because he learned he \u201ccan\u2019t control everything.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cNow that I\u2019m quiet, I\u2019ve got random people making big statements for me,\u201d said Crosby, wearing a Raiders sweatshirt and skull cap. \u201cThey\u2019re like, \u2018Maxx must\u2019ve told them this.\u2019 For me, I just sit back and laugh because I know my truth and when I go to bed at night, I have a smile on my face because I don\u2019t have to explain nothing to nobody.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cI\u2019m getting healthy. I\u2019m in the building every single day. I\u2019m in this building from 6 a.m. when it\u2019s dark out, and I\u2019m here until almost 2. &#8230; That\u2019s all I care about, so all the noise, that\u2019s news to me sometimes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Speculation about Crosby\u2019s future with the Raiders ramped up late last season when the club placed him on injured reserve with two games left because of a knee injury. Crosby was not pleased about the decision and left the building.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The five-time Pro Bowler could attract a strong trade offer if the Raiders go that route. They are about to enter their third season in a row with a different head coach, with Seattle offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak expected to take the job after Sunday\u2019s Super Bowl.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Las Vegas comes off a 3-14 record, but will have the first pick in the draft and more than $91 million in salary cap space, according to overthecap.com.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Crosby has had double-digit sacks three of the past four years, and this season had a career-high 28 tackles for loss.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">He said his focus is on rehabilitating from left knee surgery that took place about a month ago.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cI\u2019m ahead of schedule, and it\u2019s business as usual,\u201d Crosby said. \u201cIt\u2019s my eighth surgery in seven years. It\u2019s something that I\u2019ve gotten used to. It\u2019s all about perspective, about how you approach what you want to accomplish.
