{"id":459785,"date":"2026-02-07T13:35:07","date_gmt":"2026-02-07T13:35:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/459785\/"},"modified":"2026-02-07T13:35:07","modified_gmt":"2026-02-07T13:35:07","slug":"att-pebble-beach-pro-am-welcomes-star-studded-field-to-pga-tour-signature-event","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/459785\/","title":{"rendered":"AT&#038;T Pebble Beach Pro-Am welcomes star-studded field to PGA Tour signature event"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The first signature event of the <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.golfchannel.com\/pga-tour\/schedule\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">PGA Tour season<\/a> is on tap next week where a $20,000,000 purse will be up for grabs at the <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.golfchannel.com\/pga-tour\/2026\/at-t-pebble-beach-pro-am\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">AT&amp;T Pebble Beach Pro-Am<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Defending champion Rory McIlroy is set to make his 2026 Tour debut after playing a handful of events on the <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.golfchannel.com\/dp-world-tour\/news\/rory-mcilroy-begins-new-year-with-66-and-lead-in-dubai-invitational\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">DP World Tour this winter. <\/a><\/p>\n<p>McIlroy, who enters the tournament ranked second in the <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.owgr.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Official World Golf Ranking<\/a>, will compete against world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler and world No. 3 Justin Rose.
