We\u2019re in the final hours before the Super Bowl<\/a>, and both teams appear to be in good health ahead of Sunday\u2019s showdown.<\/p>\n

The Seahawks appeared loose and energetic in their final 44-minute walk-through on Saturday afternoon at San Jose State, according to a pool report.<\/p>\n

\u201cGuys are in good spirits,\u201d Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald said. \u201cYou can hear them. Finally. It’s taken a while to get here. But it’s here. It’s awesome.”<\/p>\n

The Patriots opted for an even more laid-back approach on Saturday at Stanford Stadium, where the team took photos and spent time with their families.<\/p>\n

Both quarterbacks are healthy and good to go, as Patriots quarterback Drake Maye (shoulder) and Seahawks QB Sam Darnold (oblique) were full participants in Friday\u2019s practice reports.<\/p>\n

On the other side of the ball, Seahawks rookie safety Nick Emmanwori was a full participant in practice and has no injury designation for Sunday. Emmanwori went down with an ankle injury in practice Wednesday and was held out of Thursday\u2019s session<\/a>.<\/p>\n

For the Patriots, linebacker Harold Landry was limited Friday after missing Thursday\u2019s practice, while fellow LB Robert Spillane was a limited participant for the second straight day.<\/p>\n

And on Thursday night, at NFL Honors, the top awards for the 2025 season were handed out.<\/p>\n

The night also included the announcement of the five-man 2026 Hall of Fame Class<\/a>: Drew Brees, Larry Fitzgerald, Luke Kuechly, Adam Vinatieri and Roger Craig. As previously reported, legendary Patriots head coach Bill Belichick and owner Robert Kraft failed to make the list.<\/p>\n

The Dallas Cowboys are expected to place their franchise tag on wide receiver George Pickens, according to ESPN\u2019s Adam Schefter<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Pickens is coming off his first season in Dallas, a breakout campaign in which he caught 93 passes for 1,429 yards.<\/p>\n

The tag is projected to cost approximately $28 million, per Schefter, and it\u2019s thought to be the placeholder for long-term contract negotiations.<\/p>\n

The Seattle Seahawks are adding two running backs to their active roster for Super Bowl LX. Cam Akers and Velus Jones were elevated from the practice squad on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Akers, 26, appeared in three games this season for the Seahawks with no carries or receptions, This will be his second Super Bowl, after appearing with the Los Angeles Rams in 2021. He has also played for the Minnesota Vikings and Houston Texans in his six-year NFL career.<\/p>\n

Jones, 28, also played in three regular-season games, rushing for 32 yards on four carries. In four NFL seasons, he has also played with the Chicago Bears, Carolina Panthers and New Orleans Saints.<\/p>\n

The Atlanta Falcons are expected to release quarterback Kirk Cousins before the start of the new league year in March, giving him the chance to choose where he wants to play in 2026, according to ESPN\u2019s Adam Schefter<\/a>.<\/p>\n

That is, if Cousins does in fact decide to keep playing. He\u2019s spent 14 seasons in the league: six in Washington, six in Minnesota and two in Atlanta.<\/p>\n

Both running back D\u2019Ernest Johnson and defensive lineman Leonard Taylor III will be on the active roster for the New England Patriots during Super Bowl LX.<\/p>\n

Johnson carried the ball just 13 times for 25 yards this season, whereas Taylor scattered 11 total tackles \u2014 first with the New York Jets and then with the Patriots \u2014 in his limited action.<\/p>\n

Bad Bunny will be performing at halftime of Super Bowl LX.<\/p>\n
