Defencemen Victor Hedman and Erik Karlsson will serve as the alternate captains for the tournament for Sweden while Sebastian Aho and Mikko Rantanen are Finland\u2019s alternates. <\/p>\n

\u2014 Chris Johnston (@reporterchris) February 8, 2026<\/a><\/p>\n Landeskog had missed the last 14 games prior to the Olympic break for the Colorado Avalanche due to an upper-body injury. <\/p>\n The 33-year-old has seven goals and 22 points in 41 games this season.<\/p>\n Prior to this season, Landeskog missed the last three regular seasons due to knee injuries, before returning in last year\u2019s postseason.<\/p>\n He was one of Sweden\u2019s first six players to be named to their Olympic roster in June.<\/p>\n Landeskog helped Sweden capture the silver medal at the 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia, the last time NHLers participated in the event prior to this year. <\/p>\n He has also won two gold medals with Sweden at the IIHF World Championships in 2013 and 2017. <\/p>\n Granlund has 12 goals and 27 points in 38 games for the Anaheim Ducks this season. <\/p>\n He helped Finland win the bronze medal at the 2014 Sochi Olympics and was named to the Olympic All-Star team after scoring three goals with seven points in six games. <\/p>\n The 33-year-old has won three medals at the IIHF World Championships, taking home gold in 2011 and 2022 and silver in 2016. <\/p>\n Cervenka named Czechia\u2019s captain<\/p>\n Forward Roman Cervenka has been named Czechia\u2019s captain for Milano Cortina 2026. <\/p>\n David Pastrnak and Radko Gudas are serving as the two alternate captains. <\/p>\n Cervenka, 40, currently plays for HC Dynamo Pardubice in the Czech Extraliga. He has 17 goals and 56 points in 40 games this season. <\/p>\n He played one season in the NHL with the Calgary Flames in 2012-13, scoring nine goals with 17 points in 39 games.
