The NASCAR season<\/a> officially begins with a packed weekend at Daytona International Speedway<\/a>. It is time for Speedweeks and the Daytona 500.<\/p>\n

The week features multiple on-track sessions for the NASCAR Cup Series drivers. They will practice, qualify, and race multiple times at the 2.5-mile superspeedway.<\/p>\n

The ARCA Menards Series, Craftsman Truck Series, and O’Reilly Auto Parts Series teams will also be in action on multiple days while kicking off their respective seasons.<\/p>\n

Daytona 500 forecast and weekend schedule<\/p>\n

Wednesday forecast<\/a>: The WeatherUnderground forecast calls for cloudy skies and a high of 74 degrees. Only a 2% chance of precipitation throughout the day.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Thursday forecast: <\/a>The forecast calls for partly cloudy skies throughout the day with a high of 68 degrees and a 12% chance of precipitation.<\/p>\n

Friday forecast<\/a>: The forecast calls for mostly sunny skies throughout the day. A high of 62 degrees and a 13% chance of precipitation at the start of the Truck Series race.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Saturday forecast<\/a>: The forecast calls for partly cloudy skies throughout the day. A high of 67 degrees and a 5% chance of precipitation at the start of the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series race.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Sunday forecast:<\/a> The forecast calls for cloudy skies and a potential for rainstorms in the afternoon. A high of 75 degrees and a 42% chance of rain at the start of the Daytona 500.\u00a0<\/p>\n
