Abigail Bimman reports. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">NUUK, Greenland \u2013 While both Danish and Greenlandic leaders cite progress in diplomatic talks with the United States, they also suggest there is a long road ahead. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cWe are not out of the crisis, and we do not have a solution yet,\u201d Denmark\u2019s Foreign Affairs Minister Lars L\u00f8kke Rasmussen said Saturday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Rasmussen said initial diplomatic meetings with the U.S. have taken place and more are scheduled, but he declined to share details. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">He said Denmark has made its \u201cred line\u201d regarding Greenland\u2019s sovereignty very clear in talks, but did not say whether the U.S. has agreed to it. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cWe are not where we want to be yet,\u201d said Greenland\u2019s Foreign Affairs Minister Vivian Motzfeldt. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">She said things are \u201cmuch better\u201d than they were a month ago, when U.S. President Donald Trump ratcheted up threats to take over the autonomous Danish territory.
