The Montreal Alouettes have added to their quarterback corps, signing American Anthony Brown Jr.<\/p>\n
The CFL club announced Monday it has signed the 27-year-old athlete to a two-year contract.<\/p>\n
Brown spent 2025 playing for the Houston Roughnecks of the UFL and made three starts.<\/p>\n
He previously spent time in the NFL with stints in Baltimore, Las Vegas, Buffalo and Arizona.<\/p>\n
The six-foot-one, 217-pound quarterback played three seasons at the University of Oregon and was the Ducks’ starter for all 14 games in 2021, leading the Pac-12 Conference with 2,989 passing yards.<\/p>\n
The Alouettes also inked quarterback Dresser Winn and linebacker Donovan Manuel on Monday.<\/p>\n
Both Americans join Montreal on two-year contracts.<\/p>\n
Winn returns to the CFL where he spent 2023 with the Edmonton Elks.<\/p>\n
The 27-year-old joined the Los Angeles Rams for two seasons before playing 2025 with the Memphis Showboats in the UFL.<\/p>\n
Manuel comes to the Als after time with the Minnesota Vikings.<\/p>\n
The 26-year-old previously spent two seasons playing for Florida International University where he recorded a team-leading 121 tackles in his final season.<\/p>\n
Argos sign Americans Rucker and Davis<\/p>\n
TORONTO \u2014 The Toronto Argonauts have added a pair of Americans, signing defensive back Trey Rucker and receiver Solomon Davis on Monday.<\/p>\n
The six-foot, 203-pound Rucker comes to Toronto after spending the 2025 campaign with the Washington Commanders.<\/p>\n
He played four seasons for Oklahoma State from 2021 through 2024, racking up 197 tackles, four interceptions, seven pass deflections, two fumble recoveries and one forced fumble over 39 games.<\/p>\n
