Erika, who is now the chairwoman and CEO of Turning Point USA, showered the performers in praise after the controversial show wrapped.<\/p>\n
Taking to X, the 37-year-old wrote, “The @TPUS All-American Halftime Show was so incredible. Charlie would\u2019ve absolutely loved it. Thank you to the millions that tuned in.”<\/p>\n
She continued, “I\u2019m so proud of our entire team, staff, and the artists who believed in the vision and mission @KidRock @brantleygilbert @leebrice @GabbyBarrett_. It\u2019s okay to love Jesus and your country. Ultimately, this is what it\u2019s all about: making Heaven crowded. \u2026I love you Charlie baby, this is all for you.”<\/p>\n
During Kid Rock’s performance, the 55-year-old artist kicked off with his rap hit “Bawitaba.” He then went on to share his own cover of Cody Johnson\u2019s hit song \u2019Til You Can\u2019t.<\/p>\n
After Kid Rock’s show wrapped, he faced fierce backlash online, including from viewers and his fellow country stars. Chart-topping singer Zach Bryan continued his public feud with the singer as he mocked Kid Rock for his participation in the MAGA-backed event.<\/p>\n
Taking to his Instagram story, Zach shared a video of a person watching the Turning Point halftime show on their phone while Bad Bunny’s performance played on a television in the background. The person held their hand up to try and stop themselves from watching Bad Bunny.<\/p>\n
The 29-year-old singer captioned the post, “What Kid Rock actually thinks is happening across America.”<\/p>\n
Country singer Kacey Musgraves also piled in as she took to X during the Super Bowl and wrote, “Well.
