{"id":465943,"date":"2026-02-10T14:09:12","date_gmt":"2026-02-10T14:09:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/465943\/"},"modified":"2026-02-10T14:09:12","modified_gmt":"2026-02-10T14:09:12","slug":"cyberconnect2-celebrates-30th-anniversary-with-upcoming-game-announcement","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/465943\/","title":{"rendered":"CyberConnect2 celebrates 30th anniversary with upcoming game announcement"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Known best for their work on anime-related games, <a style=\"color: #980000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.kitguru.net\/gaming\/mustafa-mahmoud\/cyberconnect2-begins-its-30th-anniversary-celebrations-plans\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" data-darkreader-inline-color=\"\">CyberConnect2 has amassed a repertoire of adaptations<\/a>, from titles based on Demon Slayer; JoJo\u2019s Bizarre Adventure; Naruto and Dragon Ball \u2013 to name a few. <a style=\"color: #980000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.kitguru.net\/gaming\/mustafa-mahmoud\/cyberconnect2-begins-its-30th-anniversary-celebrations-plans\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" data-darkreader-inline-color=\"\">In celebration of the studio\u2019s 30th anniversary<\/a>, CyberConnect2 have teased that they will announce their most ambitious project yet next week.\n<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/PIROSHI_CC2\/status\/2020779307283742997\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Taking to Twitter<\/a> to make the announcement (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gematsu.com\/2026\/02\/cyberconnect2-to-announce-30th-anniversary-game-project-on-february-16\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">and translated by the publication Gematsu<\/a>), studio CyberConnect2 confirmed that they will be hosting a special anniversary stream on the 16th of February at 8:09PM JST (11:09 AM UK time).\n<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kitguru.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/videoframe_16393.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[728427] nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-728435\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/videoframe_16393-1024x577.jpg\" alt=\"CyberConnect2 Anniversary\" width=\"618\" height=\"348\"  \/><\/a>\n<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gematsu.com\/2026\/02\/cyberconnect2-to-announce-30th-anniversary-game-project-on-february-16\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">According to the studio<\/a>, this new project is said to be a \u201ccompletely new game title\u201d which will act as the \u201cculmination of the technology, strength, and courage [CyberConnect2] has cultivated thus far.\u201d\n<\/p>\n<p>What this means exactly is unknown, especially with CyberConnect\u2019s titles being relatively small in scope typically.
