href=\"https:\/\/globalnews.ca\/tag\/eddie-bauer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Eddie Bauer<\/a> will begin the process of closing its Canadian doors and launching liquidation sales as part of its <a href=\"https:\/\/globalnews.ca\/tag\/bankruptcy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">bankruptcy<\/a> proceedings.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/d21y75miwcfqoq.cloudfront.net\/70c8fc80\" alt=\"\" style=\"position:absolute;width:1px;height:1px\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Eddie Bauer LLC, the operator of the brand\u2019s North American stores, provided a statement to Global News that states the clothing retailer \u201cwill conduct liquidation sales at its stores while continuing to pursue an ongoing sale process to conduct an expeditious, value-maximizing going concern sale of all or part of its store operations.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It was also stated that \u201cin the event of a sale, the the retail company begins its process of winding down certain stores.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to Eddie Bauer\u2019s website, there are 31 Canadian locations currently open, with more than half
