Traffic on the Alex Fraser Bridge between Richmond and Delta was jammed Tuesday morning after the driver of a semi-truck struck the median near the north end.<\/p>\n
The trouble began before 5 a.m., after the crash on the East Annacis Channel Bridge.<\/p>\n
Lanes in both directions were temporarily closed and reopened in different intervals throughout the morning. <\/p>\n
As of 10:30 a.m., lanes in all directions have finally reopened. Drivers can still expect some delays.<\/p>\n
The crash also led to delays on the East-West Connector for several hours. Meanwhile, a crash on Highway 99 affected traffic through the George Massey Tunnel.<\/p>\n
Both the stal\u0315\u0259w\u0313as\u0259m and Pattullo bridges remain closed until Feb. 13, also leading to congestion in the Lower Mainland Tuesday morning.<\/p>\n
