Britney Spears<\/a> has reportedly sold off her entire catalog to music company Primary Wave for an unknown amount.<\/p>\n

The deal, which includes the rights to some of pop music\u2019s most iconic hits, like \u201cOops!\u2026 I Did It Again!,\u201d \u201c\u2026Baby One More Time\u201d and \u201cGimme More,\u201d was confirmed by two sources to The Hollywood Reporter<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Spears\u2019 representatives did not immediately return The Independent\u2019s request for comment.<\/p>\n

Additional details of the supposed sale were reported by TMZ<\/a>, which spoke with a source who called it a \u201clandmark deal,\u201d somewhere in the ballpark of Justin Bieber\u2019s $200 million deal with Hipgnosis Songs Capital<\/a> for the rights to his back catalog.<\/p>\n

The documents, obtained by TMZ, are dated December 30, 2025.<\/p>\n

The business move comes a month after Spears insisted she would \u201cnever\u201d perform in the U.S., citing \u201cextremely sensitive reasons.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

The \u201cToxic\u201d hitmaker has two sons with her ex-husband, Kevin Federline<\/a>: 20-year-old Sean Preston Federline and 19-year-old Jayden James Federline. Spears was estranged from both children for some time, but reunited with her younger son, Jayden, around Christmas 2024<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Last March, she shared videos of Jayden rapping and playing the piano, describing him as a \u201cgenius.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

Widely referred to as the Princess of Pop, Spears first rose to fame in 1998 with the release of her debut single, \u201c…Baby One More Time.\u201d The song became the title track of her 1999 debut album, which also featured other top hits: \u201cYou Drive Me (Crazy)\u201d and \u201cSometimes.\u201d<\/p>\n

In recent years, the Grammy-winning singer has found herself at the center of a string of controversies involving erratic social media behavior<\/a>. She addressed her divisive social media activity in her 2023 memoir The Woman in Me, explaining that she gets \u201cjoy\u201d from \u201cposing the way I feel sexy.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n
