\n\tMargot Robbie<\/a> was quick to put a rude former co-star in his place.<\/p>\n

\n\tDuring a recent conversation with Charli xcx<\/a> for\u00a0Complex<\/a>, the Oscar-nominated actress and producer recalled a male castmember from a past project gifting her a book about eating less food.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cVery, very early in my career, an actor I worked with, a male actor, gave me a book called\u00a0French Women Don\u2019t Get Fat, and it was essentially a book telling you to eat less,\u201d she said. \u201cAnd I was like, whoa, fuck you, dude.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tRobbie added, \u201cHe essentially gave me a book to let me know that I should lose weight. I was like, \u2018Wow.’\u201d She also noted that she has \u201cno idea where he would even be now.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe book in question, written by Mireille Guiliano, was originally published in 2004 and centers on French eating habits and moderation.<\/p>\n

\n\tWhile Robbie opted out of naming the male actor or the project they were working on together, she has gone on to make quite a name for herself in Hollywood. Some of her most notable roles include The Wolf of Wall Street (2013), Suicide Squad (2016), I, Tonya (2017), Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019), Bombshell (2019), Babylon (2022) and Barbie (2023).<\/p>\n

\n\tShe\u2019s also earned three Oscar nominations, including best leading actress for I, Tonya, best supporting actress for Bombshell and best picture for Barbie.<\/p>\n

\n\tRobbie next stars opposite Jacob Elordi in the Emerald Fennell-directed Wuthering Heights<\/a><\/a>, which hits theaters on Friday. The filmmaker previously told British Vogue<\/a> why she knew the actress was the obvious choice for the role of Cathy.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cCathy is a star,\u201d Fennell said at the time. \u201cShe\u2019s wilful, mean, a recreational sadist, a provocateur. She engages in cruelty in a way that is disturbing and fascinating. It was about finding someone who you would forgive in spite of yourself, someone who literally everyone in the world would understand why you love her.
