The qualifying tournament serves as the pathway to the\u00a02026 FIBA Women\u2019s World Cup, which will be held in\u00a0Germany this September, with teams earning qualification based on their performance in\u00a0San Juan. The\u00a0United States has already secured qualification\u00a0by winning the\u00a02025 Women\u2019s AmeriCup.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Howard brings significant international and professional experience to the roster. Most recently, she represented the United States at the\u00a0Paris 2024 Olympic Games\u00a0as a member of\u00a0USA Basketball\u2019s 3×3 National Team, helping the team earn a\u00a0bronze medal.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
At the WNBA level, Howard is coming off a standout 2025 season, averaging 17.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 4.6 assists per game, while earning Second Team All-WNBA Defense honors.
