<\/p>\nSo, as people have noticed by now, Joey Logano is bald.<\/p>\n
Completely.<\/p>\n
After years of treating an autoimmune issue with hair growth treatments, one that he even turned into a sponsorship with HairClub for Men, the three-time Cup Series champion has finally embraced the chrome dome look.<\/p>\n
He calls it \u2018hair-o-dynamic,\u2019 for what it\u2019s worth. He was asked about his \u2018hair journey\u2019 on Wednesday during Daytona 500 Media Day and there were some objectively hilarious answers on the topic.<\/p>\n
“My hair journey? It don’t grow no more.”<\/p>\n
Logano said it with his signature guffaw.<\/p>\n
\u201cI have a, I don\u2019t know what to call it, an autoimmune thing, it\u2019s called alopecia,\u201d Logano explained. \u201cI randomly get these spots and then it eventually comes back. So, I had another flare up and I just decided \u2018screw it,\u2019 because this is easier.\u201d<\/p>\n
It took some time for Logano to make peace with it but said \u2018it\u2019s very refreshing now\u2019 and said that he gave his eight-year-old son Hudson the clippers at some point this winter and told him \u2018have fun\u2019 before wife Brittany came home.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou can do this hair cut at home.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brittany had actually endorsed the decision for quite awhile and Logano told her, \u2018hey, whatever you want.\u2019<\/p>\n
But Logano has spent so much of this winter actually trying to downplay a narrative that he was somehow \u2018not okay.\u2019<\/p>\n
\u201cI had been thinking about it and had another flare-up and was just like \u2018okay, fine,\u2019 and didn\u2019t think much about it until I got like messages from people asking if I was okay,\u201d Logano said. \u201cAnd I\u2019m like \u2018yeah,\u2019 and I didn\u2019t realize it was that big of a deal.\u201d<\/p>\n
