The podcast co-host connected Spelling\u2019s \u201cmessy\u201d home and difficulty parting with possessions to her frequent illnesses.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">During the podcast discussion, Spelling sent Sugarman a photo of her living room, which the actress said had become her \u201cgifting suite.\u201d The image alarmed Sugarman, who noted the Christmas tree remained up and the space had become unusable.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cTori, this is not good,\u201d Sugarman said. \u201cYou can see the bones in here, like the shelves could be really pretty, the living room could be really pretty. You have beautiful things. You can\u2019t even sit in there.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Sugarman estimated \u201c400 stacks of s\u2013&#8211; in the house right now\u201d and told Spelling the chaos likely contributed to why she \u201ccould not work for two months.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Spelling acknowledged the situation has reached a point where she has \u201cstopped having people over\u201d and would not take business meetings at her home. The actress, who is caring for five children, admitted, \u201cYeah, it\u2019s all just sitting here in piles.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The home was more \u201cpresentable\u201d when Spelling lived with ex-husband Dean McDermott because \u201che wouldn\u2019t live like that,\u201d and she had help at the time, according to Spelling. The couple split in June 2023 after nearly 18 years of marriage.
