{"id":469396,"date":"2026-02-12T03:53:10","date_gmt":"2026-02-12T03:53:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/469396\/"},"modified":"2026-02-12T03:53:10","modified_gmt":"2026-02-12T03:53:10","slug":"wwe-commentary-team-change-confirmed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/469396\/","title":{"rendered":"WWE Commentary Team Change Confirmed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>                    <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" data-class=\"LazyLoad\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/wwe-logo-october-8-a.jpg\" alt=\"WWE Commentary Team Change Confirmed\"\/><\/p>\n<p>                    WWE<\/p>\n<p>A change to the WWE commentary team for one of the company\u2019s weekly shows has been confirmed due to a new role for one of the announcers.<\/p>\n<p>Last week on NXT, following the WWE departure of General Manager Ava, Shawn Michaels announced that Robert Stone would be taking over as Interim GM of the show.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to appearing in his previous role as Ava\u2019s assistant on <a href=\"http:\/\/wrestletalk.com\/topic\/nxt\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">NXT<\/a>, Stone has also been a commentator on WWE Evolve for the past year alongside Peter Rosenberg.<\/p>\n<p>Today, Stone announced that tonight\u2019s edition of WWE Evolve will be his last time as an analyst on the show.<\/p>\n<p>He tweeted:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">After the chaos that went down last night on NXT, it\u2019s clear I need to put my full focus on my role as Interim NXT General Manager.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">With that said, tonight will sadly be my final night analyzing the action on #WWEEvolve<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">What an incredible 1st year for the show.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Make sure you continue watching the next generation of talent be born every week on @Tubi<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Trust me\u2026 I\u2019ll be watching too.<\/p>\n<p>Tonight\u2019s WWE Evolve will feature Kendal Grey defending the Evolve Women\u2019s Championship against Karmen Petrovic, as well as Swipe Right vs Eli Knight &amp;
