It includes the start of the women\u2019s curling tournament, the first game for the Canadian men\u2019s hockey team, and some big medal potentials in men\u2019s moguls, men\u2019s snowboard cross and speed skating\u2014both short track and long track!\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s a look at what you won\u2019t want to miss.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Alpine Skiing\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The women\u2019s super-G starts at 5:30 a.m. ET. <a href=\"https:\/\/olympic.ca\/team-canada\/valerie-grenier\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Val\u00e9rie Grenier<\/a> will be wearing bib No. 25 while <a href=\"https:\/\/olympic.ca\/team-canada\/cassidy-gray\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Cassidy Gray<\/a> will be 34th out of the gate.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Cross-Country Skiing\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The women\u2019s 10km free begins at 7:00 a.m. ET. Racing for Canada are <a href=\"https:\/\/olympic.ca\/team-canada\/sonjaa-schmidt\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Sonjaa Schmidt<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/olympic.ca\/team-canada\/liliane-gagnon\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Liliane Gagnon<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/olympic.ca\/team-canada\/katherine-stewart-jones\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Katherine Stewart-Jones<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/olympic.ca\/team-canada\/alison-mackie\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Alison Mackie<\/a>. In the first draw, Team Canada\u2014skip <a href=\"https:\/\/olympic.ca\/team-canada\/rachel-homan\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Rachel Homan<\/a>, third <a href=\"https:\/\/olympic.ca\/team-canada\/tracy-fleury\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tracy Fleury<\/a>, second <a href=\"https:\/\/olympic.ca\/team-canada\/emma-miskew\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Emma Miskew<\/a>, lead <a href=\"https:\/\/olympic.ca\/team-canada\/sarah-wilkes\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Sarah Wilkes<\/a>, and alternate <a href=\"https:\/\/olympic.ca\/team-canada\/rachelle-brown\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Rachelle Brown<\/a>\u2013-will take on Denmark. Team Homan are the two-time reigning world champions.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Freestyle Skiing<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/olympic.ca\/team-canada\/mikael-kingsbury\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Mika\u00ebl Kingsbury<\/a> will go for his fourth straight Olympic medal in men\u2019s moguls. Before the final, there is a second qualification round at 4:00 a.m. ET. <a href=\"https:\/\/olympic.ca\/team-canada\/elliot-vaillancourt\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Elliot Vaillancourt<\/a> will compete in that, aiming for a top-10 finish to join Kingsbury and <a href=\"https:\/\/olympic.ca\/team-canada\/julien-viel\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Julien Viel<\/a>, who both advanced directly to the first final round from Tuesday\u2019s first qualification round.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>There will be 20 men in the first final round at 6:15 a.m. ET, from which the top eight will advance to the second final round where medals will be up for grabs.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"754\" width=\"1146\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/MDB-260210-194944.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-348686\"  \/>Team Canada\u2019s Mikael Kingsbury warms up before competing in freestyle ski moguls qualification at the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games in Italy on Tuesday, February 10, 2026. Photo by Mark Blinch\/COC <\/p>\n<p>Hockey\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>There are two Team Canada hockey games on the schedule. First at 8:30 a.m. ET, the Canadian women will take on Finland, a game that had been rescheduled from Day -1 because of an outbreak of illness among the Finnish team.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>At 10:40 a.m. ET, the Canadian men will play their first game in Milan, taking on Czechia.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Skeleton\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The skeleton competition will begin with the first two runs of the men\u2019s event, starting at 3:30 a.m. ET. It will mark the Olympic debut of <a href=\"https:\/\/olympic.ca\/team-canada\/josip-brusic\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Josip Brusic<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Snowboard\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Men\u2019s snowboard cross starts the day, beginning with the seeding runs. <a href=\"https:\/\/olympic.ca\/team-canada\/eliot-grondin\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Eliot Grondin<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/olympic.ca\/team-canada\/evan-bichon\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Evan Bichon<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/olympic.ca\/team-canada\/liam-moffatt\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Liam Moffatt<\/a> are looking for good spots in the elimination rounds, beginning with the \u215b finals at 7:45 a.m. ET. The race for the medals will go around 8:56 a.m. ET.<\/p>\n<p>Then at 1:30 p.m. ET is the finals for women\u2019s halfpipe, featuring <a href=\"https:\/\/olympic.ca\/team-canada\/elizabeth-hosking\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Elizabeth Hosking<\/a>. The 12 riders will all do three runs with only their best score counting towards the final ranking.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Speed Skating \u2013 Long Track\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The women\u2019s 5000m will get started at 10:30 a.m. ET.<a href=\"https:\/\/olympic.ca\/team-canada\/laura-hall\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> Laura Hall<\/a> will skate in the first pairing. <a href=\"https:\/\/olympic.ca\/team-canada\/isabelle-weidemann\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Isabelle Weidemann<\/a> will be in the fifth of sixth pairings. Photo by Leah Hennel\/COC *MANDATORY CREDIT*<\/p>\n<p>Speed Skating \u2013 Short Track\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It could be a big day in short track speed skating with the women\u2019s 500m and men\u2019s 1000m on tap. In both events, the day will begin with the quarterfinals, with skaters looking to advance to the semifinals and then the A finals which will determine the medals.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The competition session begins at 2:15 p.m. ET, with the A finals starting at 3:36 p.m. ET.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/olympic.ca\/team-canada\/courtney-sarault\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Courtney Sarault<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/olympic.ca\/team-canada\/florence-brunelle\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Florence Brunelle<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/olympic.ca\/team-canada\/kim-boutin\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Kim Boutin<\/a> will race in the women\u2019s 500m while <a href=\"https:\/\/olympic.ca\/team-canada\/william-dandjinou\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">William Dandjinou<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/olympic.ca\/team-canada\/felix-roussel\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">F\u00e9lix Roussel<\/a> are in the men\u2019s 1000m.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"February 11, 2026 Day 6 is set up to be a busy day for Team Canada.
