It\u2019s not easy, but it\u2019s the right thing and I stand by it,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Trump responded <a href=\"https:\/\/truthsocial.com\/@realDonaldTrump\/posts\/116054542648712986\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">in a Truth Social post<\/a> that \u201cany Republican, in the House or the Senate, that votes against TARIFFS will seriously suffer the consequences come Election time, and that includes Primaries!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He added that \u201cTARIFFS have given us Economic and National Security, and no Republican should be responsible for destroying this privilege.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For Canadian housing, the stakes around these votes extend\u00a0well beyond partisan drama.
