Cage previously voiced Spider-Man Noir in \u201cSpider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, and while his animated performance helped popularize the trench coat\u2013wearing web-slinger, the Prime Video series is inspired by the \u201cSpider-Man Noir\u201d comic books and is not connected to the Sony animated film.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tSet in 1930s New York, \u201cSpider-Noir\u201d centers on an aging private investigator who is forced to reckon with his former life as the city\u2019s only superhero. The series will be released in both black-and-white and color, leaning into the genre\u2019s classic noir influences. The trailer shows Cage swinging through the city, jumping from cars, beating up crooks in a bar and getting \u201cplastered\u201d afterwards.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tCage leads an ensemble cast that includes Lamorne Morris, Brendan Gleeson, Abraham Popoola, Li Jun Li, Karen Rodriguez and Jack Huston. Guest stars include Lukas Haas, Cameron Britton, Cary Christopher, Michael Kostroff, Scott MacArthur, Joe Massingill, Whitney Rice, Amanda Schull, Andrew Caldwell, Amy Aquino, Andrew Robinson and Kai Caster.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cSpider-Noir\u201d is produced by Sony Pictures Television exclusively for MGM+ and Prime Video. Harry Bradbeer (\u201cFleabag,\u201d \u201cKilling Eve\u201d) is directing and executive producing the first two episodes, with Oren Uziel (\u201cThe Lost City,\u201d \u201c22 Jump Street\u201d) and Steve Lightfoot (\u201cMarvel\u2019s The Punisher,\u201d \u201cShantaram\u201d) serving as co-showrunners and executive producers.
