A new photo of Korn<\/a>‘s Ray Luzier<\/a> with Reginald “Fieldy” Arvizu<\/a> has\u00a0sparked speculation that the bassist is reuniting with the band.<\/p>\n

Luzier and Fieldy were photographed together at the NAMM<\/a> trade show in Anaheim, Calif. late last month<\/a>. The photo has since made the rounds across social media, causing fans to wonder whether or not it means Fieldy is plotting a return to the group.<\/p>\n

During a podcast episode in February of 2025, Fieldy revealed that he hadn’t spoken to his Korn bandmates since 2019<\/a> \u2014 about two years prior to when he formally announced he was taking a hiatus from the group<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI haven\u2019t talked to those guys in \u2014 since 2019. So, it\u2019s like, we\u2019re just kind of both just doing. They\u2019re truckin\u2019. They\u2019re a machine. They\u2019re going. It\u2019s insane. It\u2019s dope that they can keep on going like that,” the bassist admitted.<\/p>\n

A lot can change in the span of a year but it’s definitely interesting to see that the bassist was hanging out with Luzier recently.<\/p>\n

The photo was shared in a post on Reddit<\/a> and generated quite a discussion. Some fans seemed hopeful that the picture is indicative of a reunion while others are taking it with a grain of salt.<\/p>\n

Fieldy shared a statement announcing his hiatus from Korn in 2021 that addressed “some personal issues” and “bad habits” that he wanted to work on.<\/p>\n

“It\u2019s been suggested to me to take some time off to heal. I\u2019m going to respect what was asked of me and take that time. Unfortunately you will not see me on stage with my band,” he wrote.<\/p>\n

He concluded the statement telling his bandmates that he loved them and didn’t want to negatively impact the band.<\/p>\n

Roberto “Ra” D\u00edaz<\/a> of Suicidal Tendencies<\/a> has played bass with the group since Fieldy’s departure.<\/p>\n
