Ademola Lookman has accused Atalanta of \u201cbreaking promises\u201d made to him after the club rejected a bid from Inter Milan.<\/p>\n

“I feel I have no choice but to speak out for what I believe is right and I feel that enough is enough,” Lookman wrote on social media.<\/p>\n

“I can confirm I have now handed in a formal transfer request.”<\/p>\n

Lookman said Atalanta were “blocking the opportunity” of him leaving the club “for reasons I do not understand”.<\/p>\n

Atalanta rejected a bid worth around \u20ac40m last week.<\/p>\n

Everton boss David Moyes told the media that there should be deals in the near future for the club.<\/p>\n

Moyes had previously lamented the club\u2019s inability to do deals for top players, buthe said: “We have to make several additions, we know that, even for the numbers. <\/p>\n

\u201cWe have people in the squad where we\u2019d maybe like to put them out on loan or do other things with them but I\u2019ve been saying it from near enough the minute we finished against Newcastle that we have to get it done and I feel like we should be further down.<\/p>\n

“But in the main, it looks as if we\u2019re getting closer to things and hopefully a few things will come to fruition this week.<\/p>\n

However, Hojlund is determined to fight for his place, telling the media after Manchester United’s 4-1 win over Bournemouth in the Premier League Summer series that his \u201cplan is very clear and that is for me to stay and fight for my spot, whatever happens.”<\/p>\n

The striker was spotted arriving at Newcastle training ground on Monday morning after arriving back in the UK from Spain on Saturday afternoon, according to Sky.<\/p>\n

Newcastle rejected a bid for Isak from Liverpool last week, with the sum involved believed to be up to \u00a3120m.<\/p>\n

Manchester United have submitted an offer of \u20ac75m (\u00a365m) plus \u20ac10m (\u00a38.7m) to RB Leipzig for striker Benjamin Sesko reports The Independent\u2019s Miguel Delaney. <\/p>\n

Sesko has been on United\u2019s radar for a while with the club assessing whether they have a realistic chance of signing the forward. <\/p>\n

Their bid comes another Newcastle submitted a second offer for Sesko which is slightly lower than Man Utd\u2019s. <\/p>\n

Sesko scored 21 goals in all competitions last season for Leipzig and has recorded 39 goals and eight assists in 87 appearances for the German club since signing from RB Salzburg in 2023.<\/p>\n

His Leipzig contract runs until 2029.<\/p>\n
