We\u2019re nearing the end of the first week of competition at the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Here\u2019s what\u2019s in store for Team Canada on Day 7.<\/p>\n
Biathlon\u00a0<\/p>\n
Zachary Connelly<\/a>, Adam Runnalls<\/a>, Jasper Fleming<\/a>, and Logan Pletz<\/a> will line up for the start of the men\u2019s 10km sprint race at 8:00 a.m. ET. The results from this event will set the starting order for the pursuit event on Sunday.<\/p>\n Cross-Country Skiing<\/p>\n The men\u2019s 10km free begins at 5:45 a.m. ET and will see Maximillian Hollmann<\/a>, Remi Drolet<\/a>, and Tom Stephen<\/a> take to the course for Canada. This is an interval start race, with skiers leaving the start every 30 seconds so pacing and strategy will be key.\u00a0<\/p>\n Curling\u00a0<\/p>\n Canada continues its round robin play with Rachel Homan<\/a>\u2019s rink of third Tracy Fleury<\/a>, second Emma Miskew<\/a>, lead Sarah Wilkes<\/a>, and alternate Rachelle Brown<\/a> taking on the United States at 8:05 a.m. ET. The men\u2019s team of skip Brad Jacobs<\/a>, third Marc Kennedy<\/a>, second Brett Gallant<\/a>, lead Ben Hebert<\/a>, and alternate Tyler Tardi<\/a> will also face the United States, playing at 3:05 a.m ET and then will face off against Sweden at 1:05 p.m. ET.<\/p>\n Figure Skating<\/p>\n Stephen Gogolev<\/a> enters the men\u2019s free skate in 10th place with 87.41 points from the short program. The competition session begins at 1:00 p.m. ET, with Gogolev scheduled to skate at 3:28 p.m. ET.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n Hockey\u00a0<\/p>\n After opening their tournament with a 5-0 win over Czechia, the Canadian men are right back at it with a game against Switzerland at 3:10 p.m. ET. It is their second of three preliminary round games.\u00a0<\/p>\n Skeleton<\/p>\n The women\u2019s skeleton event featuring Hallie Clarke<\/a> and Jane Channell<\/a> will begin with the first two runs. The first is at 10:00 a.m. ET, followed by the second at 11:48 a.m. ET. Channell is competing in her third straight Olympic Games. Clarke, the 2024 World champion, is making her Olympic debut.\u00a0<\/p>\n Meanwhile it is the final day of competition in the men\u2019s skeleton event. The third run goes at 1:30 p.m. ET. followed by the fourth run at 3:05 p.m. ET. In his first Olympic Games, Josip Brusic<\/a> is currently in 24th place after the first two runs.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n Snowboard<\/p>\n Only one Canadian is competing in women\u2019s snowboard cross after Meryeta O\u2019Dine<\/a> fractured her ankle in a training session upon arrival in Italy.
