Not every conservative in Kelly\u2019s replies agreed. <\/p>\n
Far-right MAGA mouthpiece Laura Loomer responded, \u201c@megynkelly prefers we all fawn over @RealCandaceO instead. @NICKIMINAJ is speaking up for persecuted Christians in Nigeria.\u201d <\/p>\n
Another person questioned why Kelly tagged Minaj in the post, surmising that the conservative commentator was \u201cdoing this for attention.\u201d<\/p>\n
And yet another wrote that Kelly seemed \u201cjealous.\u201d<\/p>\n
Whether Minaj\u2019s cozying up to Trump will yield a positive return for the president\u2019s favorability remains to be seen. Also up in the air is whether the relationship will give the Trinidadian-born rappers any better shot at obtaining citizenship, following her touting of Trump\u2019s reportedly worthless<\/a> $1 million \u201cGold Card.\u201d<\/p>\n Originally touted as a \u201cvisa based upon an individual\u2019s ability to provide a substantial benefit to the United States,\u201d by the White House, an official told The New York Times that it was \u201cnot a Visa document\u201d after Minaj gloated about receiving one from the gracious, charming president in a post to X<\/a>. <\/p>\n In 2018, prior to her MAGA induction, the rapper revealed<\/a> that she entered the country illegally.<\/p>\n Obsessed with pop culture and entertainment?
