The University of Minnesota Duluth Tennis Team fell to visiting Bemidji State, 6-1, in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) action Friday night at the Duluth Indoor Sports Center (DISC).\u00a0<\/p>\n
Freshman Paige Heideman<\/a> picked up the lone point for the Bulldogs, and her third-straight victory, with a 6-4, 6-4 win over Ana Lucia Ibanez Castro at No. 4 singles. The last time a rookie opened their debut campaign with three-consecutive wins was Carly Chaney<\/a>, who won a program-record 11-straight matches in 2023.\u00a0<\/p>\n Chaney and freshman Morgan Hammer<\/a> secured a win at No. 3 doubles, defeating Valesca\u00a0Rodriguez and Ibanez Castro, 6-4.
