To narrow down all of that choice, though, we here at Tom’s Guide are giving you a little early V-Day gift in the form of personally sifting through what’s new on Prime Video in February<\/a> and picking out a handful of options worth streaming.<\/p>\n

Prime Video regularly adds new original series and fresh film titles<\/a> to its platform every month, and this week’s additions range from suspenseful crime thrillers to sporty docuseries and more. Here are the three new to Prime Video shows I’d binge-watch this weekend.<\/p>\n

Brilliant homicide detective and forensic psychologist Alex Cross (Aldis Hodge) is back for more thrilling cases in the second season of “Cross,” Prime Video’s screen adaptation of the bestselling novel series written by James Patterson. The crime drama was already a massive thrill in its first season,<\/a> and we’re happy to report that the follow-up is just as engaging and even more brutal and twisty than ever<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Season 2 finds the titular detective and best friend-slash-partner John Sampson (Isaiah Mustafa) in pursuit of a ruthless female vigilante \u2014 very skilled when it comes to knives \u2014 who is hunting down corrupt billionaire magnates, per the show’s official logline.<\/p>\n

But a new three-episode docuseries gives you an intimate front-row view of the famous singer off-stage as she becomes a mother for the first time.<\/p>\n

“Raw, tender and empowering, it captures her emotional journey\u2014from the joys and heartbreaks of a troubled pregnancy to redefining her identity beyond fame,” reads the doc’s official synopsis, which also teases that, for the first time, the new series will also see Jesy revealing the truth behind her split from the band.<\/p>\n
