{"id":474137,"date":"2026-02-14T08:47:06","date_gmt":"2026-02-14T08:47:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/474137\/"},"modified":"2026-02-14T08:47:06","modified_gmt":"2026-02-14T08:47:06","slug":"isack-hadjar-says-a-first-formula-1-race-win-is-on-his-radar-in-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/474137\/","title":{"rendered":"Isack Hadjar says a first Formula 1 race win is on his radar in 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Isack Hadjar is hopeful, heading into the 2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.formula1.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Formula 1<\/a> season, his first with Red Bull Racing, that a maiden race win is on the cards.<\/p>\n<p>Hadjar is only in his second season in the top flight, and he represents Red Bull Racing&#8217;s latest attempt at having a decent second driver alongside four-time F1 Champion Max Verstappen.<\/p>\n<p>It has to be noted that Hadjar has impressed with his performances in his rookie F1 season when he was still a Racing Bulls driver and despite a shaky start with his crash on the reconnaissance lap at the opening race in Melbourne.<\/p>\n<p>As such, Red Bull have opted to give him a chance, as their previous choices, Liam Lawson and Yuki Tsunoda, both failed spectacularly to perform alongside the Dutchman.<\/p>\n<p>The fact that 2026 will feature new cars may be an advantage for Hadjar, with Verstappen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grandprix247.com\/formula-1-news\/f1-news-max-verstappen-believes-it-is-the-right-time-for-isack-hadjar-to-step-in-red-bull-racing-in-2026-formula-1-new-regulations\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">suggesting it is the best time<\/a> for the Frenchman to step up to Red Bull Racing.<\/p>\n<p>Hadjar admitted that he is looking forward to fighting for wins at the sharp end of the 2026 F1 grid.<\/p>\n<p>He said:\u00a0\u201cThe excitement of fighting for wins against top drivers is still going to be here, and that&#8217;s what matters the most. But still, you&#8217;d like to do it in cars that are super, super fast.
