\n\tIn a back and forth affair between Santa Clara (7-2) and Washington (4-4), Kim had the last word on court three with his three set victory.\u00a0 This\u00a0is the second time the Broncos have defeated a Big Ten conference opponent on a 3-all clincher this spring.\u00a0 On Feb. 1, Ferran Redza<\/a> secured the 3-all clincher against Oregon at the Degheri Tennis Center and was recognized as the\u00a0West Coast Conference Freshman of the Year for his efforts.\u00a0\u00a0
\n\tOn Saturday, the Broncos took the doubles point on wins by\u00a0Valentin Faure<\/a> and Redza on court three, followed by\u00a0Tiago Boschmans<\/a> and Luca Lemaitre’s<\/a> victory over\u00a0Stephane Kamendje and Nikola Plavsic 6-3 on court two.\u00a0
\n\tThe Huskies won the first two singles matches at court two and one to go ahead 2-1 on the team scoreboard.
\n\tFaure answered to knot things at 2-all when he beat\u00a0 Hyeon Seok Seo 6-3, 7-5 on court five.\u00a0
\n\tSCU went ahead 3-2 on Luca Bluett’s<\/a> win past\u00a0Daniel Bien 6-4, 6-3 on court six.\u00a0
\n\tBrett Pearson then defeated Lukas Maskow<\/a> 6-3, 1-6, 6-4 to tie the match before Kim’s clincher.\u00a0\u00a0
