One of the few actual upgrades coming to the Galaxy S26 series is the \u201cPrivacy Display\u201d expected to launch on the Galaxy S26 Ultra, and in continued teasers, Samsung seems to know exactly how you\u2019ll be using it.<\/p>\n

The \u201cPrivacy Display\u201d coming to the Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to use native display tech to hide content on the display from onlookers. Like a typical privacy screen protector, this would mean you can see everything just fine, but details would vanish for those looking at an off-angle, such as over your shoulder. Samsung\u2019s first teasers and early leaks<\/a> also suggest that this won\u2019t be an all-or-nothing feature, either, giving the user control to only obfuscate certain parts of the display such as notifications.<\/p>\n

It sounds really cool, and it also seems Samsung knows exactly how a lot of people intend to use the feature.<\/p>\n

In its latest teaser, Samsung shows someone riding on public transit, with a copy of their screen showing a \u201cspicy\u201d piece of literature. It\u2019s not the first time Samsung has hinted at this use case, with another early teaser <\/a>showing some\u2026 personal text messages. While there are obviously a ton of ways the \u201cPrivacy Display\u201d will be useful, Samsung isn\u2019t being too subtle about some other ways in which the feature will be handy.<\/p>\n

The Galaxy S26 series is set to launch on February 25, but \u201cPrivacy Display\u201d is said to be a Galaxy S26 Ultra exclusive.<\/p>\n
