Due to a lack of available physicians, the Emergency Department at the North Shore Health Network’s Thessalon site will shut down for a full day starting Tuesday morning<\/p>\n
Citing physician shortages, the North Shore Health Network announced to day that the\u00a0Emergency Department in Thessalon will be closed Tuesday at 8 a.m. to Wednesday at 8 a.m.<\/p>\n
Anyone who requires urgent medical attention should call 911 immediately.<\/p>\n
Ambulances will be rerouted to the following closest emergency departments to the Thessalon site:<\/p>\n
\n\tBlind River site \u2013 North Shore Health Network, 525 Causley St., Blind River
\n\tRichards Landing site \u2013 North Shore Health Network, 1180 Richards St., Richards Landing
\n\tSault Area Hospital, 750 Great Northern Rd., Sault Ste. Marie
