Fans of The Terminal List<\/a> can expect a few surprises in the show\u2019s second season.\n<\/p>\n Jack Carr \u2014 co-creator of the Amazon Prime Video series and author of the books it\u2019s based on \u2014 revealed that The Terminal List 2 will deviate from the plot of his second novel True Believer<\/a>, a stark difference from the first season.\n<\/p>\n \u201cWe can’t follow it because some things that I wrote about in the book actually came true [in real life], and in the book, the character prevents them from happening,\u201d Carr told PEOPLE at the New York City red carpet premiere of The Terminal List: Dark Wolf<\/a> on Monday, Aug. 4.\n<\/p>\n \u201cSo there are some mandatory changes like that, and then there’s other ones because you have constraints obviously with time and all those other things,\u201d he added.\n<\/p>\n Jack Carr arrives at the “The Terminal List” Los Angeles Premiere at DGA Theater Complex on June 22, 2022 in Los Angeles, California.<\/p>\n Steve Granitz\/FilmMagic<\/p>\n However, the author said it was a \u201ccool challenge\u201d to figure out how to turn his lengthy story into a multi-episode series.\n<\/p>\n \u201cIt’s much [more] different than writing a book [where] I have no constraints,\u201d he explained. \u201cI can do anything I want, and here you have a lot of constraints. Play now<\/a>!\n<\/p>\n One aspect he said he was especially proud of was how the book\u2019s imagery came to life on the screen for The Terminal List 2. <\/p>\n \u201cThe visuals that we have so far for True Believer \u2014 especially from Africa \u2014 they are so stunning, and I can’t wait to see that come together in the editing room,\u201d he said.\n<\/p>\n Carr\u2019s series stars Chris Pratt<\/a>, who is also an executive producer on the show. In June, the actor shared a video on Instagram<\/a> teasing his new look<\/a> for The Terminal List 2, which included a long bushy beard, mustache and long curly hair.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n In the clip, Pratt praised his hair and makeup team for doing an \u201cawesome job\u201d transforming him for the role, saying, “They do such great makeup and such great hair \u2026 And this mustache’s hair is like a wig \u2013 it’s a fake beard. He then held up his hand to the camera showing the special effects makeup.\n<\/p>\n Amazon Prime Video’s The Terminal List follows a Navy SEAL named James Reece (played by Pratt), who returns home with conflicting memories after his platoon is ambushed on a covert mission.
