Boutin was eliminated in the quarterfinals to rank 11th overall\/\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Canadian quartet of <a href=\"https:\/\/olympic.ca\/team-canada\/william-dandjinou\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">William Dandjinou<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/olympic.ca\/team-canada\/steven-dubois\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Steven Dubois<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/olympic.ca\/team-canada\/felix-roussel\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">F\u00e9lix Roussel<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/olympic.ca\/team-canada\/maxime-laoun\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Maxime Laoun<\/a> won their semifinal to advance to the A final of the men\u2019s 5000m relay on Friday.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Dandjinou, Dubois, and Laoun also each won their heats in the men\u2019s 500m to move onto the quarterfinals of that event on Wednesday.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Hockey\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/olympic.ca\/team-canada\/marie-philip-poulin\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Marie-Philip Poulin<\/a> scored twice to lead Canada to a 2-1 win over Switzerland in the semifinals of the women\u2019s hockey tournament, securing a spot in Thursday\u2019s gold medal game where they will face the United States.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1070\" height=\"604\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/LRH03909-e1771279063991.jpg\" alt=\"Marie-Philip Poulin celebrates her goal with Sophie Jaques and Renata Fast\" class=\"wp-image-349552\"  \/>Team Canada\u2019s Marie-Philip Poulin celebrates her goal with Sophie Jaques and Renata Fast against Switzerland in their women\u2019s Ice Hockey Semifinals match the 2026 Milano Cortina Olympic Games in Milan, Italy on Monday, February 16, 2026. Canada is now 5-1 overall at Milano Cortina 2026, with their lone loss coming against the United States.
