\u201cMy lack of clarity seemed to bleed through the screen and infect all of the commentators of the show with the same confusion I was feeling inside,\u201d he wrote for Cosmopolitan. <\/p>\n
\u201cI was she on TV, but in every Survivor podcast, there were two to three minutes spent debating what current-day Teeny wanted to go by, usually landing on the safe choice of they\/them. Grey\u2019s Anatomy actress Alexis Floyd came out as queer\/fluid on a podcast interview in mid\u20112025, affirming that the label \u201cqueer\u201d best reflects her fluid experience. She shared that the term felt freeing and true to her identity, especially in an industry that often demands rigid definitions.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo funnily enough, I was pretty closeted growing up,\u201d she said of her queer journey. \u201cI\u2019ve had relationships with people of all sorts of gender identities. So I myself, I\u2019m still looking for a definition. I love the word queer because it sort of holds it all,\u201d she continued. <\/p>\n
\u201cI had connections with men, women, non-binary folks, trans folks because I was in the theater community. And so I was blessed to have a whole community of people who were just colorful, you know. And when you\u2019re younger, too, you don\u2019t necessarily have the words for it or need them yet.\u201d<\/p>\n
