Coca-Cola Canada Bottling Ltd. is investing $141 million to renovate and expand its flagship manufacturing,\u00a0distribution\u00a0and sales\u00a0centre\u00a0in Brampton.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Ontario government is welcoming this funding and says that the expansion will introduce a new\u00a0state-of-the-art\u00a0production line capable of producing at least 20 million\u00a0additional\u00a0cases each year, while creating up to 500 construction jobs.\u00a0Province says that the project will be built exclusively by Canadian tradespeople, with at least 75 per cent of materials sourced domestically.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Premier Doug Ford said the investment reflects strong confidence in Ontario\u2019s workforce and business environment. The upgraded facility will be one of the most technologically advanced in the country, increasing production capacity, enhancing packaging\u00a0capabilities\u00a0and helping bring new products to market faster.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Since becoming an independent, family-owned company more than seven years ago, Coca-Cola Canada Bottling has invested over $230 million in its Brampton operations. The facility employs more than 1,300 people and supplies beverages to thousands of customers across Ontario and eastern Canada.<\/p>\n
