{"id":482220,"date":"2026-02-18T04:28:46","date_gmt":"2026-02-18T04:28:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/482220\/"},"modified":"2026-02-18T04:28:46","modified_gmt":"2026-02-18T04:28:46","slug":"one-injured-in-brampton-shooting-suspect-at-large","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/482220\/","title":{"rendered":"One injured in Brampton shooting, suspect at large"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>One person is in hospital following an overnight shooting in Brampton. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">One person was taken to hospital after a shooting at a Brampton residence early Saturday morning.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">In an email to CP24, Peel Regional Police say officers responded at around 2:42 a.m. to reports of gunfire in the area of Mississauga Road and Mayfield Road.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The victim was transported to a trauma centre with serious injuries and is now in non-life-threatening condition, police said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The suspect fled the area.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The investigation is being led by 22 Division\u2019s Criminal Investigation Bureau.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Anyone with additional information is asked to come forward and contact Peel Regional Police.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"One person is in hospital following an overnight shooting in Brampton.
