{"id":482699,"date":"2026-02-18T09:27:09","date_gmt":"2026-02-18T09:27:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/482699\/"},"modified":"2026-02-18T09:27:09","modified_gmt":"2026-02-18T09:27:09","slug":"evolve-e-bike-share-to-hit-130-north-shore-stations-with-west-vancouver-expansion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/482699\/","title":{"rendered":"Evolve E-Bike Share to hit 130 North Shore stations with West Vancouver expansion"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>BCAA\u2019s Evolve E-Bike Share program has now officially expanded into the District of West Vancouver, providing expanded coverage for the North Shore service across all three municipalities.<\/p>\n<p>A total of 16 bike share parking stations have been added to West Vancouver\u2019s jurisdiction, including at Ambleside Park and West Vancouver Aquatic Centre and areas in Dundarave.<\/p>\n<p>More e-bike devices and parking locations will be rolled out through April 2026. When this expansion is complete, Evolve E-Bike Share\u2019s North Shore system will feature more than 300 e-bike devices and over 130 designated bike share parking zones across West Vancouver, North Vancouver District, and North Vancouver City, as well as the reserves of the Squamish Nation and Tsleil-Waututh Nation.<\/p>\n<p>In <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyhive.com\/vancouver\/bcaa-evolve-e-bike-share-north-shore-vancouver-deep-cove-expansion\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">late 2025<\/a>, Evolve also expanded its geographical area to the easternmost areas of North Vancouver District, reaching Deep Cove.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEvolve E-Bike Share is a welcome addition to West Vancouver and will be an important contributor to many of our goals, including environmental interests, sustainability, and encouraging residents to be physically active in our vibrant community. It is a wonderful option that will help connect people to local businesses and other experiences without needing to get into a vehicle,\u201d said Mark Sager, mayor of West Vancouver, in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>Leanne Buhler, the head of Evolve E-Bike &amp; E-Scooter Share, added, \u201cOur Evolve team is thrilled to offer locals and visitors in West Van an easy, fun way to move around and explore even more of the North Shore, whether that\u2019s visiting local shops and neighbourhoods, getting to and from work, or just spending time outdoors.
