The 2025 edition of the ATP Gstaad Open is inching towards a fantastic close. Just eight players remain in contention for the trophy. As ever, we preview and predict all four quarterfinal matches for you.<\/p>\n

ATP Gstaad Quarterfinal Predictions
\nRoman Andres Burruchaga vs Ignacio Buse<\/p>\n

Head-to-head \u2013 First Meeting<\/p>\n

This should be a tight battle between two relatively unknown players on the main tour. Roman Andres Burruchaga and Ignacio Buse both had to fight hard in their respective Round of 16 matches. Burruchaga looks slightly more mature in his groundstrokes, and while Buse did play exceedingly well, expect the Argentine to win the match in three sets.
Prediction: Burruchaga in 3<\/p>\n

Arthur Cazaux vs Jerome Kym<\/p>\n

Head-to-head \u2013 First Meeting<\/p>\n

Arthur Cazaux has quietly built up momentum this week with his 32 aces split over two matches, helping him close out matches in the third set. He faces Jerome Kym ,who has made the most out of his wild card this week. He played a solid Round of 16 match but Cazaux looks slightly stronger from the baseline and with his serve firing, it is tough to see how Kym can make inroads here.

Francisco Comesana vs Alexander Bublik<\/p>\n

Head-to-head \u2013 First Meeting<\/p>\n

Both players enter this match on the back of commanding performances in the Round of 16. Francisco Comesana served incredibly well and Alexander Bublik<\/a> dominated from start to finish. Expect Comesana to make it interesting for a while but Bublik has been playing well this year, and it looks unlikely he\u2019s going to lose this match.

Casper Ruud vs Juan Manuel Cerundolo<\/p>\n

Head-to-head \u2013 First Meeting<\/p>\n

It was a successful return for Casper Ruud as he got past Dominic Stricker in two highly competitive sets. The Norwegian now faces Juan Manuel Cerundolo, who had a tough outing against David Goffin. While Cerundolo does play well on the clay, it is Ruud\u2019s favorite surface and he looks like he is motivated to go all the way.
Prediction: Ruud in 2<\/p>\n
