{"id":484155,"date":"2026-02-19T00:43:07","date_gmt":"2026-02-19T00:43:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/484155\/"},"modified":"2026-02-19T00:43:07","modified_gmt":"2026-02-19T00:43:07","slug":"missing-senior-steven-located-deceased-toronto-police","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/484155\/","title":{"rendered":"Missing senior Steven located deceased: Toronto police"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"c-paragraph\">A vulnerable senior who went missing on Sunday has been found deceased, Toronto police say.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Steven, whose last name was not disclosed, was last seen walking in northwest Scarborough, on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.ca\/maps\/place\/Birchmount+Rd+%26+Ellesmere+Rd,+Scarborough,+ON+M1R+4E9\/@43.763438,-79.2939336,17z\/data=!3m1!4b1!4m6!3m5!1s0x89d4d21ff2334e09:0x139c708e27d589e3!8m2!3d43.763438!4d-79.2913587!16s%2Fg%2F11gdvtbnqj?entry=ttu&amp;g_ep=EgoyMDI2MDIxMS4wIKXMDSoASAFQAw%3D%3D\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Birchmount Road, south of Ellesmere Road<\/a>, at around 3:30 p.m. on Feb. 15.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">He was located deceased on Wednesday in the area of Highway 401 and Warden Avenue.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Police had made several appeals for information on Steven\u2019s whereabouts, asking people to keep an eye out for him and to check their property.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cWhile the investigation is ongoing, this does not appear to be a criminal matter,\u201d investigators said in a release, thanking the public for their help locating this missing 80-year-old man.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A vulnerable senior who went missing on Sunday has been found deceased, Toronto police say.
