Officers from the Specialized Enforcement Bureau (SEB) of Peel Regional Police have\u00a0arrested<\/a>\u00a0two individuals in connection with firearm and drug-related offences.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Following a months-long investigation, SEB officers, with\u00a0assistance\u00a0from the Tactical and Rescue Unit, executed search warrants at a Mississauga residence on February 12. Police seized a Glock 19 Gen 4 handgun, ammunition, and quantities of suspected cocaine and MDMA.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Tyrel Nicholson, 33, and\u00a0Chantel Papp-Samuels, 28, both of Mississauga, face multiple charges including unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of a loaded restricted firearm with ammunition, careless storage of a firearm, and possession of cocaine and MDMA. Nicholson also faces two counts of possession of a firearm contrary to an order.\u00a0Both\u00a0remain\u00a0in custody pending bail hearings at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.\u00a0<\/p>\n
