The driver fled the scene without providing assistance. The victim, a woman in her twenties, was transported to a trauma centre, where she later succumbed to her injuries.<\/p>\n<p>On Wednesday, February 11, 2026, 26\u2011year\u2011old Sundeep Sekhon of Mississauga was arrested and charged with the following offences:<\/p>\n<p>Failure to stop after accident resulting in death<br \/>\nDangerous operation causing death<\/p>\n<p>Sekhon was held for a bail hearing and appeared at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone with any additional information regarding this collision is urged to call our Major Collision Bureau investigators at (905) 453-2121 ext. 3710.
