It celebrates the country\u2019s cultural richness, blending European influences with African cultures and history. Today, its festivities span from samba to frevo and maracatu, and Vancouver is getting its own taste of Brazilian Carnaval.<\/p>\n<p>In partnership with the Brazilian Community Association, Latincouver presents an all-new event for the books that\u2019s expected to attract over a thousand people. Taking place at the Croatian Cultural Centre, Vancouver\u2019s Brazilian Carnaval will feature a full day of authentic Brazilian culture, music, and community spirit. There will be immersive activities for the whole family to enjoy, whether it\u2019s at a dedicated kids\u2019 zone or one of the many cultural booths.<\/p>\n<p>An iconic headliner<\/p>\n<p>The headlining act is Brazilian artist Mateus Vidal, who will take centre stage with an ax\u00e9 performance.
