Woody and Buzz Lightyear are reuniting again for Pixar\u2019s fifth installment of Toy Story<\/a>.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, Pixar released a trailer for Toy Story 5, which follows the toys as they deal with modern-day kids\u2019 obsession with electronics after 8-year-old Bonnie gets a tablet called \u201cLilypad,\u201d voiced by Greta Lee.<\/p>\n

After the Lilypad causes Bonnie to miss out on making real-life friends, Jessie (Joan Cusack) confides in Woody (Tom Hanks) that toys have invaded her house. \u201cToys are for play, but tech is for everything,\u201d Woody says to a sad Jessie. She responds, \u201cI\u2019m losing Bonnie to this device.\u201d<\/p>\n

The trailer for the animated movie also shows Buzz (Tim Allen) and Woody teaming back up to save Boonie. \u201cIt\u2019s been too long, cowboy,\u201d Buzz says to Woody. <\/p>\n

The franchise premiered in 1995, and since Woody is aging, the characters poke fun at him for being bald. Trixie (Kristen Schaal) says, \u201cSomeone needs a brown marker,\u201d and after Lilypad asks him if he\u2019s an old man toy, Forky (Tony Hale) chimes in, adding, \u201cShe thinks you\u2019re old, because you\u2019re bald, Woody.\u201d<\/p>\n

Additional voice actors include Conan O\u2019Brien<\/a> and Ernie Hudson. Andrew Stanton (Finding Nemo, WALL-E), who has been involved as a writer on all previous Toy Story films, wrote this movie and serves as co-director with Kenna Harris. Lindsey Collins is producing.<\/p>\n

When Toy Story 4 was released in theaters in 2019, it surpassed $1 billion at the global box office. The film also won an Oscar for best animated feature<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Toy Story 5 hits theaters June 19.<\/p>\n
