She began in frontline community service and outreach roles before taking on her first leadership position with the Salvation Army\u2019s Rent Bank program.<\/p>\n<p>She later served as a community impact specialist with United Way Elgin Middlesex, overseeing funding for poverty\u2011reduction initiatives.
