The City of Edmonton crews have begun phase one of snow removal following a heavy snowfall, prioritizing main roads and high-traffic areas to keep the city moving.<\/p>\n

Valerie Dacyk, General Supervisor of Edmonton\u2019s snow and ice program, tells CFWE crews are focusing on major roads \u2013 including Whitemud, Yellowhead, Calgary Trail, Gateway Boulevard \u2013 along with bus and bike routes.<\/p>\n

Dacyk adds that starting Friday, crews will assess residential streets for snow and safety, with full clearance expected to take 10-14 days.<\/p>\n
